Who is CG Entertainment?

CG Entertainment is a female owned and operated dance and performance art entertainment company based in Portland, Oregon and working throughout Oregon and Washington, active since 2015.  We specialize in couture costuming, extravagant roaming characters, interactive performances, as well as choreographed and ambient dance entertainment! We match the best entertainers for our clients needs and streamline the processes of hiring and coordinating performers for various events! We have standard staged productions in a variety of themes, and we also create fully customized performances at the behest of our clients unrestrained imaginations!

We have several in-house designs that I think would work perfectly with the aesthetic and vision you described! Below are some brief descriptions! Please note that all of these costumes can be paired with long pants and skirts that would take the looks from “Nightlife” to “Family Friendly”.

If hired we could create staged productions that fuse theatre, dance, circus arts, and interactive performances for each of our available characters/aesthetics or a production that fuses them all together.

I hope to hire not only my best dancers and character impersonators but also work with Prismagic and Synatik to create fun and whimsical staged productions that feature circus arts such as aerial dance, stilt walkers, and acrobatics, dance from multiple genres that easily translate into roaming, interactive performances that will ignite the imagination of all the event guests!

As mentioned above, these are all based on costumes we currently have in our inventory, depending on the budget for the event, we may be able to create new custom designs and characters! All of the designs below are from previous productions done for past clients. We would love the opportunity to create totally new characters for your event and would love to chat with you further about that possibility!

Currently Available Characters/Aesthetics

“Dark and Light Ethereal Fusion Belly Dancing Fairy Witches”

First we have our “Dark Ethereal and Light Ethereal” Fusion Belly Dancers, that can take on the role of mystical witches or fairies while roaming and dancing with event attendees, with their fans and crystal contact balls, all performers can cast spells and hunt down fairies with guest attendees. On stage they can perform choreographies that can be tied into a larger staged musical-theateresque production about a dark mystical forest adventure, where everyone learns a lesson about why magic should only be used for good!

“Atompunk Space Pioneers”

Second option would be utilizing our various LED costumes and light props to create characters from an alien world, humans that have spread out into the expanse of our galaxy, their robot companions, and the aliens they run into on their journey across the last frontier!

Roaming performers interact with event guests with their various hula hoop props and recruit new humans to join them across the galaxy in their new home on planet Gliese 667Cc.!

On stage they can perform various dance numbers and LED prop performances as they act out what prom looks like when your classmates are robots and aliens and yet you still can’t find a date!

“Steampunk Fauns”

Our third option would be our Steampunk Fauns, these mystical creatures live in a faraway land, separated from human society by enchanted forests, floating mountains, and seas so deep and wild no ship can traverse them! But having been cut off from human society for so long, their technology is a little wonky! Clocks seemingly can’t keep time properly, so appointments always start late! And, despite advanced agricultural prosperity, their refrigerators don’t seem to keep their greens fresh for long! But one faun, Dolmia, a young inventor thinks she has found away to help bring the Dominian of Fauns into the 21st century, she just needs to convince her elders to take her and her inventions seriously! Follow her story in a staged production featuring dance, aerial acts, and old fashion physical comedy!

While roaming our Fauns will interact with event guests as they navigate the grounds, hoping to make it to various activities and shows in time, if only their clocks and FPS (Faun Positioning Systems) would function correctly!

“Showfaries”

Fourth option is “Showfaries”, the Showgirls of the fairy realm! These high-flying, high-kicking, high-heeled artistés are the rage of the stage at the Marigold Rouge, the most popular cabaret in the fairy world! But rents are high, and even the most popular club in the meadow is struggling to stay above water! Join the magical creatures of the Fairy nightlife scene as they prepare to put on the show of their lives to impress a potential new investor, a wealthy toad from Swamptown. But, is he motivated by his love for the theatrical arts or is the swamp running low on flies and he’s hungry for fairy-folk!

While roaming our fairies can wrap event guests in the warm embrace of fairy wings, join guests in high kicklines, and fly and flutter about the grounds!
