5. Booking a Superhero Impersonator

Now that you're ready to hire a superhero impersonator, how do you decide which company to book with?  Of course, I would prefer you book with us here at CG Entertainment but I understand if you want to look around and see about getting the best deal!  Whether you decide to go with CG Entertainment or another company, I ask that you do one thing, no matter what...  Be sure that you are hiring from a locally based company!  

Many National brands will advertise as if they are local, but the fact of the matter is, they aren’t and they rely on local companies to fill in for their gigs, which is fine, but you may be paying more to book through those intermediaries than you would working directly with local brands!  But, what is even worse, is that there are scam companies that will take non refundable deposits, and when they cannot book the services they offered, they will cancel and leave you with nothing!  

Sometimes it can be hard to determine whether the website you are on is locally owned, so I have created a list for what to look for when deciding what company to go with:

• Locally owned companies will not list multiple cities across the US that they operate in

• Locally owned companies will not ask you to input your zip code

• Locally owned businesses will have an area code that matches or is near the area they are advertising in

• Local businesses will likely not have a 1-800, 888, 877, 866, 855, 844, 833 or other Toll-Free area code number

• Local companies will have more than just product photos with a white background

• Local businesses will have limited characters in their inventory
